Covid-19 Solidarity Campaign
For ervery t-shirt sold, Monoton donates five euros net to Médecins Sans Frontières Belgium. Black on white.
Why do we do that?
To help mitigate the global coronavirus pandemic, MSF (MSF) has launched interventions in more than 40 countries, including Italy, Spain, Greece, France, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon , Iran, Syria, Yemen, Mali, Cameroon, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Brazil. And contrary to what you would expect: also in Belgium!
The activities continue to expand every day and always focus on the most vulnerable population groups, including in our country.
In Belgium, MSF focuses on supporting:
More than 150 residential care centers are receiving MSF support in the areas of infection prevention and control, mental support for care staff and training.
MSF supports hospital centers across Belgium to increase admission capacity where necessary and provide technical support and training.
Migrants and the homeless
In Brussels, MSF is setting up a triage and reception structure to receive, isolate, medically monitor and refer suspected corona patients among migrants and homeless people to hospitals if necessary.
Rest of the world
In addition to European projects, MSF's main concern is the outbreak of Covid-19 in places where people live in dire conditions. Such as conflict areas or refugee camps, where access to health care in 'normal' circumstances is already very difficult.
In many countries where MSF works, there are few medical actors and hardly any intensive care is available. This crisis will put even more pressure on healthcare in many countries where the organization operates.
That is why Monoton supports Médecins Sans Frontières Belgium.
Together with you. Thank you for that.
